The Dominican countryside is home to a wealth of flora and fauna, and there’s nothing better than a safari-style vehicle tour to get to know it all. During this guided tour, you’ll visit the Dominican Republic’s coffee, cocoa, and sugar cane plantations, taste local produce in Higüey, and enjoy a typical Dominican lunch.
Meeting a local family is one of the most authentic experiences on the entire island. You’ll be able to drink coffee with them and learn about the Dominican way of life in the countryside. You’ll also visit ranches in the Dominican mountains, swim in the Anamuya River, and visit some of the country’s most important farms.
